Master Your Money Through Real Spreadsheet Skills
Most people track their spending for a week and give up. We teach you how to build financial systems that actually stick—using spreadsheets you'll understand completely. No fancy apps. No subscription fees. Just practical skills you can use for life.
Why Traditional Budgeting Doesn't Work
You've tried budgeting apps that promise everything. But three months later, you're not using them. The problem isn't you—it's that most tools hide how money actually moves. When you don't understand what's happening behind the scenes, you can't make it work for your life.
Apps Lock You In
Subscription costs add up. Export features are limited. Your data lives in someone else's system, and switching feels impossible once you've started.
Pre-Built Categories Miss Your Reality
Generic budget templates assume everyone spends the same way. But your groceries might include household items, and your transport costs vary by season.
No One Teaches The Logic
Most courses show you where to click. But when something breaks or doesn't fit your situation, you're stuck waiting for support or googling for hours.
We Build Understanding From Scratch
Our program runs July through September 2025. You'll start with a blank spreadsheet and finish with a complete financial system you built yourself—and actually understand.
Foundation Month
Learn how spreadsheets think. You'll build basic formulas that track one week of spending, then expand that logic to handle categories, dates, and running totals. By week four, you'll have a working expense tracker.
System Building
Add forecasting to your tracker. You'll create sheets that predict upcoming bills, compare spending patterns across months, and flag unusual expenses. This is where most people realize they've been missing obvious patterns.
Advanced Automation
Build conditional formatting that highlights problems before they become emergencies. Create summary views that show your financial picture at a glance. Set up data validation so you can't accidentally break your own formulas.
Real-World Application
Apply everything to your actual financial goals. Whether you're saving for a house deposit or managing irregular freelance income, you'll customize your system to fit your specific situation.
You'll Learn By Doing, Not Watching
Every session includes hands-on work. We don't show you finished templates and call it teaching. You'll build each formula yourself, make mistakes, fix them, and understand why things work the way they do.
Live Sessions Twice Weekly
Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7-9 PM AEST. Miss a session? Recordings are available within 24 hours, and you can submit questions asynchronously.
Build Your Own Examples
We provide starter files, but you'll work with your real financial data. This isn't theoretical—you're building something you'll actually use after the course ends.
Peer Review System
Share your spreadsheets with other students for feedback. See how others solve the same problems differently. Learn from variations in approach, not just from the instructor.
What You'll Actually Build
By September 2025, you'll have working financial tools that match your life. No generic templates—these are systems you understand completely and can modify anytime.

Skills That Transfer Beyond Budgets
Financial spreadsheets are just the starting point. The logic you learn applies to project management, small business operations, inventory tracking, or any situation where you need to organize and analyze information.
Career Application
Students have used these skills to manage team budgets, create department reports, and automate administrative tasks—often leading to new responsibilities or better job opportunities.
Side Business Management
Freelancers and small business owners adapt the techniques to track invoices, manage expenses, and prepare basic financial statements without expensive accounting software.
Household Projects
The same organizational thinking works for renovation planning, meal prep tracking, fitness progress logs, or any situation where you're managing resources over time.
Confidence With Data
Once you understand how formulas work and how data connects across sheets, you'll approach problems differently. Complex information becomes manageable rather than overwhelming.
Next Cohort Starts July 2025
We take 24 students per session to keep the learning environment manageable. Registration opens March 2025. If you're tired of financial tools you don't understand and ready to build something that actually makes sense, this program might fit.
